I was heading home from work around 4 PM when my vehicle suddenly broke down—right in the middle of the road near East Side Automotive. It was an embarrassing situation, but thankfully, help was just a few steps away!
Three months ago, I had spent nearly $4,000 on repairs at Graham’s Auto Clinic located in South Yellowstone Drive in Madison, including replacing all four tires, so this breakdown was beyond frustrating. I quickly ran into East Side Automotive located at 1641 E Main St, Stoughton and asked for assistance. Within seconds, two incredibly kind men came outside, carefully towed my vehicle to their shop, and provided me with a detailed estimate for the necessary repairs. The pricing was fair, but after some thought, I decided to trade in the car and purchase a new one instead.
My vehicle stayed at their shop for several days, and they were incredibly patient throughout the process. When I returned to collect my personal belongings from the car, I asked how much I owed them for their help. To my surprise, they simply said, “No charge.” Their generosity and kindness truly stood out!
When I shared my experience with my colleagues, everyone agreed—East Side Automotive is known for its honesty, great service, and affordable prices. Honest. Trustworthy. Fair. They work hard to keep your cars running safely without overtaxing your bank account. They kept our kid’s car running through student teaching and the first couple years of teaching so they didn’t have a car payment. We like to push our cars to 300,000 miles if we can. It’s a lot easier to do with Eastside Automotive.
